Naka-dori, the spine of Marunouchi, turns into a winter promenade from November 12 to February 14 — ending, fittingly for this polished street, on Valentine's night. The lighting hours will be announced in late October. What is already known is the scene: trees standing in the canyons between office towers, each one holding its own small constellation. Marunouchi walks fast eleven months of the year. In winter, between the lit trees, the street allows itself to slow down.
